Appointments

All GP appointments are currently book on the day at either surgery. Please bear in mind that an automated message will be activated once all appointments have gone for the day.

We offer late night appointments on a Tuesday from 6.30pm until 8pm.

Appointments are at 10 minute intervals, if you think you will need longer, please advise reception when booking. On arrival you can book in without having to queue using our simple touchscreen.

Emergency bookings are available. It is helpful if we know the reason for this as it will help us to direct you to the most appropriate healthcare professional.

We have Advanced Nurse Practitioner(s) available Monday to Friday to assist with acute, on the day appointments, offering a range of appointments which also include joint injections and Med3 continuation appointments.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Telephone Access

To book an appointment with a nurse or doctor, please ring 01623 648880 from 8.30am on the day you would like an appointment.

Please bear in mind that all appointments are book on the day and an automated message will be activated once all appointments have gone for the day.

Chaperone

We can arrange for a chaperone to be present during a consultation or examination if you would like one. On occasions the doctor/nurse may request a chaperone to be present.

Electronic Booking and Patient Choice (choose and book)

If you need to be referred for hospital treatment, you will often now be offered a choice between clinics at four or more different local hospitals. Hospital appointment booking can usually be made whilst you are still in the surgery, or you can call back to make arrangements if you prefer.

Cancellations

If you have an appointment booked with any clinician which is NO longer required, please cancel it! This will give is the opportunity to offer the appointment to someone else who needs it.
